A Friday ritual. A single photo capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. - via soulemama
Beautiful, time alone, how peaceful... Thanks for sharing,
Mine is watching my boy, 10, sail away with his crew, he's running the rudder, they grow up so fast, enjoy each moment! http://onetwotwentyseven.blogspot.com/2010/08/this-moment-running-with-his-crew_06.html
I'm a bit envious right now ;) ;) I'm sure it was a lovely moment and at the end you were dying to see your little boy. That's how it always is. We crave moments to ourselves and during those moments we crave our babies. Ah, the life of being a mother.
Angela - I wasn't really "away", just sitting in the cockpit of the boat enjoying the coolish air while he and daddy crabbed off the end of the dock. It was a nice quiet time to think adn write and enjoy the evening air all the while hearing him giggle in the distance.
Lucky you! Those kinds of 'moments' can be hard to come by sometimes! What a beautiful, inviting space. I hope you enjoyed your quiet time there. - Christy
Lovely lighting in this photo... I should remember to light candles more often, it's so relaxing!

Blessed moments, indeed! You have a sharp eye, the bamboo shot was in the ape area at the zoo. We'll have to make the trip together sometime.
