Snowed In!

They are calling for 22+ inches with 35+ knot winds.

(Halloween is still standing and looking mighty festive. The handy, tarp enclosure we rigged around the cockpit is proving no match for this snow though.)

(this is the view through the tarp leading out to our deck and boarding ramp. The drift is higher than Zach)

(my view from inside this morning. dreaming of sunlight.)
The boys are out playing. I am hunkered down with my tea a good book.

I have lots of dark chocolate and beeswax and all of your warm words and wishes from yesterday's post to keep me warm. Thank you!

The tree looks so pretty! I'm glad you are hunkering down with chocolate and beeswax. I'm sure the boys are having a great time too. My kids sure are! :)

Your tree looks incredibly beautiful!! I am so surprised the beeswax wouldn't crack in the cold? I love your cozy cozy photos, the paper snowflakes are very sweet : ) Warm wishes to you mama xo

So pretty! I have to tell you that my kids love your blog. My 6 year-old thinks that your son's room is "cool", and now he wants to live on a boat!

I don't believe I've ever experienced those type of conditions! But, my it makes for beautiful pictures! And, a cuppa something warm always does this trick on days like that!!

If you need someone to come dig you out, just give us a yell...

Thanks Lisa, using Picnik photo editing makes the banners oh so fun and easy.

Gardenmama & Joy & Christine - it's funny how the tree looks so pretty with the snow when it was all a mistake and we were TRYING to keep the snow out!

TanFam - that's how it started with me, seeing a little liveaboard boat as a wee girl and never getting it out of my system

Dim Sum - and WOW :)

Cam - from one sun girl to another, it's prettier to look at in pictures than to experience
:)

wholarmor - it is the hard tiem of year, I see it as paying for the other times that are so blissful
