mud kitchen

Under the shade of our favorite oak tree, the mud kitchen is open for business.

We used all of our odds and ends kitchen bits scored over the years from Goodwill and here and there. I brought over a pot of mud, Naia collects wild strawberries and flowers and herbs, and the cafe has been a local hit.  The little ones keep busy, keep cool, and wear themselves out. It's the perfect kind of fun for a long summer afternoon.

Love, love, love summer.

Oh gosh, I'm missing summer! We are wrapped in our proverbial bubble waiting till the snowdrops and daffs show their faces.
Naia is so gorgeous, beautiful photos.
It looks like one part mud kitchen, one part mud spa! :) What fun!
They are getting DIRTY !!!!! Gaaaak......seriously, what a way to spend the day, Joy, imagination and tactile fun. Fantastic : )
I just put up my own mud kitchen post, inspired by Naia. Come up to Maine. It's not as hot!
