postcards from summer

We have been on the go here, taking in the fabulous weather, the free time, and of course a visit all the way from Hawaii from Grandma!  Here is a little peek at what we have been up to...

Lots of beach time! My summer has consisted of mostly the same kinds of things. Someday we will share beach time OK?

Thank you Katy! I try to see the beauty to get through the bumpy lumpy parts we all have.
Oh you make summer look a million types of amazing!
Love Naia's dress, did you make it?

I made a slew of summer beach clothes. I couldn't help myself. Need to dress her while i can!
Great photos!

Would you think less of me if I told you I made her a set of outfits just for the beach? Of course they are not JUST for the beach, but I was inspired by the idea of beach vacationing to make them. Dress, a couple of skirts, and the pants. All light and airy and geeky sea themes.
LOVE Assateague!

I'm drunk on summer after these shots. I am sure going to miss it (can you tell I'm starting to get nostalgic???). And I have to go to Assateague! Never been there. Must go there.

I can't believe you have never been there lady!! Ok, we are planning a fall or spring outing there with the kids together.
Postcards indeed. It looks like everyone thoroughly enjoyed grandma's visit!
First I thought that pic of her with her head back in her life jacket on the boat was incredible then I saw her and the ponies. Wow!

We were stunned that we happened to be able to get that close to the wild ponies. We had this fab boat captain who went out of his way to get us to a spot where we could get ashore and muck through the marsh and find them. Magic!
