Have You Any Wool?

Another perfectly lovely day at our fiber CSA playing with baskets full of wool. A little farm hiatus now and again always seems to give me balance and make me feel even more grateful when I turn home to the sea.

Wow, a fiber CSA. That might be the coolest thing that I have ever heard of. Looks like you had a great time!

How cool is that...a fiber CSA?!!! Very fun outing. We just noticed today that all of the local sheep have recently been sheared...funny to see them looking so small and naked, but I am sure they feel a lot better because it is starting to really heat up here.

Yes, yes a fiber CSA. It's my hope that by the end of the year I will actually know how to knit and can do something with it all :) If not, I can get it in roving and have all sorts of fun that way. It's a brilliant idea for this local sheep farmer to get involved with the community and make some extra income. She's a very cool lady and we're learning so much!
