Watching for signs of fall in the 90 degree heat.
Watching for our friends from
Zero To Cruising to arrive.
Watching for his little siser to make her appearance.
Watching the world go by.
A Friday ritual. A single photo (ok two this week) capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. - via

I love that some people have to say something...
I have to add a little something to the picture. I too am looking for signs of fall in 90 degree heat.

Sorry ..I just had to comment again. I think this blog is so cool. What a whole new way of living (for me at least). I am excited to see what else your blog has to say. How cool. I am excited to look at the blog list of other "boat kids". Plus I love the little side comment to your mom. I am a new follwer because I think this is why we blog and read blogs to learn about another way of doing things...very cool..did I already say that?
Congrats on the new baby to be!!
Lisa
p.s. I won't comment again on this post...but I will be back...how cool!
That's so cute! Binoculars are great for a little discovery and adventure.
Such a beautiful image, x. His sitting stance looks really strong & secure. Love your 'new' banner too. Thanks, Katie.
I was thinking about you the yesterday, wondering if the new little soul had made her appearance, I trust she will have a safe passage. Many blessings...
Warmly,
Christina

bow watch is also the best place, in my recollection, to get some "me time" and by far the best place for singing sea chanties.
i love the comment about why we blog by the little house that grew, but i still maintain that in your case, i follow along because i get to live a little slice of an older life i once lived, vicariously. :)
oh yeah... here's my moment

As a girl, I lived on a wooden sloop in the Bahamas. I spent many hours watching just like him. Nice photo.
There is always something fun to look for when you're a kid and you have binoculars ~ such adventures to be had.
Love your blog, and will try to spend more time here reading of your adventures. Cheers~
So much fun! I love his shirt. So many cool things to watch for. :-)
