Brighten boat up with beautiful hyacinths on yet ANOTHER rainy day.
When child starts plucking the blooms off your hyacinth, give him a needle and thread.

Child stays busy. Boat smells sweet.

Put on some fun Hawaiian music as you prance around in your leis.

And if you're lucky, the weather sprites will smile on you and send some Aloha your way.

oh how i love hawaii. how nice to have family there (i've read your previous posts and seen your photos from there - SO lovely!). those hyacinth leis you made are gorgeous and must smell fabulous! oh yes, and my daughter let out a great big 'AHHH' when she saw the rainbow. :)
What an interesting blog you have here! Hope to read about more of your adventures!!!
Thank you both for the kind words. The leis didn't last long. I think if we had a standard refrigerator to put them in, they may have gone a couple more days.
Dear Boatbaby,
Thank you so much for telling me about this wonderful hyacinth craft! I love it! I would love to wear hyacinth. Beth
