A Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savor and remember. - via soulemama
Julian would roar with laughter if he read this, but Cindy, I look at your photos aboard your boat, and it looks so comfy and organised, with only the things you need and love, and you create such a wonderful life there with Zach, that I would love to have a similar space here. Ditch the house and all the trappings - cause really, what do they add! - and create a nest of essential joy with my family :-) Honestly, there are so many books out there on how to make a lovely life in the standard home ... I think we should ditch them and read all about how to create a lovely life aboard a boat!
6riddles - not his own recipe, but one we make all the time and he has memorized. so he wanted to write it down and then start the process. Pumpkin dark chocolate chip muffins! YUM!
FunkyMommy - welcome! thank you!
Artistmama - the funny thing is, I am terrible in the kitchen. but it doesn't matter to him. He just loves being there, hands in the ingredients, making it happen.
Ruby - thanks! we just had the red cushions done a couple of months ago. We love it compared to the blah beige that the boat came with.
Lily - you make me smile! Comfy, yes, organized... not always. I try to keep at least the main salon organized. And I am working hard to do the same with the other parts of the boat. It's a challenge living with two males though (ahem).
Tricia - thanks! it's fun seeing everyone's moments, isn't it? I will miss that handwriting when it's all straightened out. Of course, if he's anything like my husband, this may be the peak of the handwriting. :lol
