Groupie

My sweet boy wrote his first fan letter this weekend. When he heard his favorite band was playing near by, he immediately went to work. He found a little card and wrote the words "Zach love you", drew a picture of a ship, and sealed it in an envelope seen here.

When the band had a break, he went up shyly with me by his side and handed them the letter. They could not have been more gracious and kind with my little groupie. A heartfelt thank you, a warm smile, and a high five. They even acknowledged him in their next set saying their special friend "Pirate Zach" was in the audience.

So if you're of the nautical persuasion, or even if your not, give a listen to Them Eastport Oyster Boys. Now the official favorite band of our entire crew.


Edited to add: Somebody gave me a blog award. I am humbled and honored, I truly didn't realize anyone was paying attention except my dad. It took me the better part of a week to figure out how to "accept" it and pass it on. I am just that computer literate. ;)
