Silky Simplicity

Intentional, imaginative, industrious little people at play.

Building, bonding, make believing.

The wind wants a say in this playful protocol, but Z & K persevere.

The cockpit is clad in a tangle of color.

The boat gently rocks while the summer afternoon rolls away with the tide.

Huh...you mentioned "rocking." I don't know why it never occurred to me before, seeing as you live on a boat, but you totally get rocked to sleep at night, eh? That would be awesome!

love those tents! my girls are also big into forts of sorts. friends of ours raised their daughter on a boat and that girl had the best sense of balance!

Lovely! My sister and I spent a lot of time building similar structures and now my kids are starting to do the same thing...something so satisfying about building your own special spot. Those are beautiful silks...did you make them yourselves?

Absolutely LOVE those silks! Coveting and hoping for my own! I had a beautiful dark blue with white moons dyed on it, and my little bro sprayed bleach water on it one day. ACK! Almost did me in...

Need to get another soon!
